  • Traffic– How much traffic do you have daily? There are certain rooms or sections of your home that receive more traffic than others. These areas should be cleaned or at least spot cleaned more often. If you have kids or normal amount of traffic, you should consider using a carpet cleaner at least once per 6 months.
  • Medical Conditions– If you or anyone in your home has certain medical conditions such as allergies or respiratory ailments, clean your carpets a couple of times each year.
  • Pets– If you have pets, high traffic, or smoke, you should clean the carpet with a carpet cleaner around every 3 months. You should also vacuum it twice a week

If you don’t have kids or pets, and don’t get much traffic, once per year is enough.
